DAY 32 19 JULY TO BOROLOOLA!

Road keeps getting better! Still off and walking occasionally but on the whole much more rideable. In the last 20kms to Borroloola we started seeing Downer road crews patching up culverts and a bit later the road surface itself. The last 10 km into Borroloola was great with even a few kms of bitumen from the Macarthur River high bridge. Heaven! Pulled up in Old Borroloola for the cool drink and Lemonade Popsicle before heading on to the caravan park for the night. A km walk to new Borroloola for a bit of fruit and milk and a huuuuge chicken parmigiana at the Capricorn Cafe. Too big, no room for pudding. And bed.
