A day pacing the paths around the post office waiting for the brake pads/chain/other bits to arrive. The bits finally arrived at 4pm then it was a sweaty hour learning how to fit disc brake pads (second set went in a lot easier than the first).
Then change the chain (the Shimano pin went crooked [note; if taking a chain tool make sure that the driving pin is straight] so switched to the master link (love those re-useable master links) which was a lot tighter than I remembered.
A short discussion with a caravaner about the joys of the five minute friendships that one has on the road and then to bed.
