LEJOG DAY 8 REST DAY BRISTOL

Talk about relaxed! Took till after midday and rising hunger and caffeine deficiency to get us out of the house.

We eventually caught an Uber to Brunei’s suspension bridge followed by a walk to the ‘floating dock’ (dock basin isolated from tidal rise and fall by lock gates so ships didn’t sit on the mud at low tide).

Return to base by same by 6pm for Tesco’s Ready meals and bed.

Highlight of the day the youff heading off to a music festival. As Hillary described the lads ‘a cloud of testosterone’. The girls must have been breathing it in as they were wearing very little even before getting to the venue.

UK is not good on public toilets so lots of boys and girls peeing in the bushes on the way to the festival.

Washing done, bikes tightened up, bellys full, time for a shower and a sleep.
