Just luck to arrive at Wave Rock on a Thursday night.

The Welfare Package, aka some official documents that have been chasing me for a few days, arrived at the post office in Hyden (3 km each way) on Friday.

However,

the wheel repair care package was posted in Perth on Sunday so it didn’t arrive until Tuesday even by express post. Just unfortunate timing of posting times and mail distributio times.

Spent Sunday walking over Wave Rock ( yep a big rock, some fun rock formation, but still, just a rock) and chilln’.

Monday checked the mail, no package. Didn’t even have the energy for a beer at the Hyden pub (3 km each way).

Weather was good so three nights in the tent wasn’t a problem.

Three nights in the tent meant that my gear obeyed the Second Law of Thermodynamics and gradually assumed a condition of Minimal Enthalpy or Maximal Entropy, ie it spread itself around inside and outside the tent.
